Afterschool Arts & Academic Enrichment Program![]() SEAMAAC's After School program entitled 'Hip Hop Heritage' offers a balance of creative arts workshops, homework assistance, college preparation, sports activities and group open discussion. We offer classes in all of the Hip Hop Arts ranging from emceeing to deejaying, breakdancing and graffiti writing, and students may earn a cash incentive for good attendance and the completion of arts projects. Our staff works with each of our students and families so that they may define success for themselves, and achieve that success in a spirit of creativity, cultural integrity, and independence. Our program is different in that we listen to what the youth want to do. After School Program Schedule

Youth Summer Camp Program![]() SEAMAAC's 'Hip Hop Heritage' Summer Program is designed for youth to expand their creativity and potential. Our program provides creative outlets and a safe atmosphere for young people to express themselves, connect with others, be mentored by caring adults, learn about and impact upon social issues and engage in activities promoting sound physical and mental health. Most of all, each summer we have FUN! In summer 2010 our program partnered with Philadelphia Youth Network and Work Ready Philadelphia to offer a six week summer job to 50 youth. Our program culminated in a community event where youth painted murals, performed a choreographed dance production and had a breakdance jam and battle.
